Boogie Beam

forever in our hearts

Thought you might like to see Boogie as he has grown up here. I was with him when he was coming out and he was a special foal right from the start for me.  He is my best friend and all round great horse!

He was the first foal I watched being born and being a novice when mom stood up and his front feet were hanging out I went behind mom to catch him as I thought he would just fall out on his head!!

This is him at just a few hours old.

This was at 7 days.

then about 3 months or so.

this is when he was a yearling and we showed him in hand and he won his class!

He also likes to play and this was one of his first toys, an old boot.

10 year old

11 year old (poor Boogie didn't have time to pose this year he was just worked so hard,hehehe)

12 year old. Just outstanding in his pasture.

13 years old. Now he has to carry the family around. (And he is used as a standing block)

14 years old, 2000. Boy we have shared a lot of good times with each other and I hope to have many many more years with my best buddy.
